A collection of monochromatic carpets enriched with color contrasts that highlight their contemporary nature. An innovative aspect of this collection are the fringed edges, composed of thick natural silk pile, which, like a frame, delimit the sides of the rug, creating an interplay of textures and volumes. A natural silk obtained by sericulture, a technique based on the cultivation of the characteristic silkworm, natural silk originated in China in 2000 B.C. and did not become widespread until after 500 A.D. Extraordinarily fine, light and lustrous, natural silk allows for a very fine and compact knotting, ideal for making high-quality carpets, characterized by a particular definition of pattern.
