The perfect project for a demanding customer, who after many years decided to come back to his family house, a place reminding him his childhood times and memories.
Having this in mind, the architect Giuseppe Pasquero from Cohesion studio led the restoration and the interior design of the apartment, which is located in the southern hills of Turin.
In an attentive research of the hard-to-find balance between perfect proportions and a seductive aesthetic, the interior design project lives in an apparent contradiction between memories and contemporaneity. For example, the double-sided wardrobes dividing the space are in fumigated oak, and they are supported by revisited colored lacquered boiseries.
The gentle tone of the walls, enhanced by highly materic artworks, is regularly interrupted by more incisive chromatic accents, as the deep Farrow & Ball blue or the creative backgrounds in the bedroom.
The furniture is entirely made by craftsmen and designed by the architect until the smallest detail. They are linked by a chromatic scale that spaces from light grey and red to the darkest shades of the wood.
The final result of sober elegance is completed by special pieces of furniture from the most prestigious contemporary interior design brands.
